2026 Concordia Golf Classic: Sinking Putts and Raising Funds

We had big blue skies, beautiful greens and just enough cloud-cover to bring a breeze over another successful Concordia Golf Classic on Monday, July 13.

The 22nd annual event was once again held at the beautiful Treesdale Golf & Country Club, where 212 golfers hit the greens in a scramble-style tournament.

In addition to the fun on the fairways, the event featured a basket drawing with 32 incredible baskets, a 50/50 and 12 silent auctions.

This year Concordia President & CEO Keith Frndak also officiated a spirited live auction for three golf spots at Oakmont Country Club, including caddies and lunch at the club, donated by Babb Inc. The winner, Jake Wuerstle, put in the winning bid of $2,800.

Preliminary results show that this year’s outing raised over $140,000 to advance Concordia’s ministry of caring.

Supporting a Timeless Mission

Proceeds from the Golf Classic benefit Concordia’s Good Samaritan Endowment Fund, which provides confidential charitable care to residents and patients who have limited or exhausted financial means.

The fund remains one of the most historic and important pieces of Concordia’s faith-driven mission to serve those in need.

And taking third-place, the team of Dan Harris, Calvin Bouchard, Danny Harris and Chad Simendinger, also with a score of 57.

A number of skill prizes were also handed out, rounding out a friendly but competitive day on the course.
